How to Join Charlotteville CC

The Charlotteville Cycling Club is open to all and there are no restrictions on membership. The Club's membership comprises people of all ages and abilities and from various parts of the country. Membership entitles you to affiliation to numerous cycling associations and organisations plus friendly support and advice from Club members.

Membership subscriptions are paid annually (renewed on the 1st January each year - although anyone joining the club after 31st August each year will automatically receive membership for the following year without charge).

For 2021 the Club Committee have decided that if you renew (or join) before 31st March 2021 then Club membership for 2021 will be 50% of 2020 rates (after this time rates will return to the same as 2020)

2021 subscriptions are as follows (50% discount applies on the rates below until 31st March 2021):

Membership Category 1st Claim 2nd Claim
Senior (over 18) £28 £25
Senior (over 65) £18 £15
Junior (under 18) or Student (in Full-Time Education) £15 £13
Rascals* see below
Couple (residing at the same address) £40 £35
Family (parents and under-18's residing at the same address) £42 £37

* The membership model for the Charlotteville Rascals is slightly different in that costs for each session are as follows: Go-Ride Club Members would need to join British Cycling with affiliation to Charlotteville CC and then they would pay £2/3 (depending on the ability group) per Go-Ride session (£2 on Go-Race days). For that the Rascal member would also automatically become a Charlotteville CC member without any further subscription being paid. Non-members or British Cycling members affiliated to other clubs will pay £3/4 per Go-Ride session.

Our membership management is carried out through the British Cycling website (note: this does not require you to be a British Cycling member, but obviously you can join at the same time).  Please follow this link and select the appropriate membership category to join us.  If you have any problems during the registration process, please contact

Being a member of Charlotteville CC means that you have the required membership of Cycling Time Trials (so you can compete in Open TTs) because Charlotteville CC are affiliated to CTT.
