This is an initiative by the coaches to recognise a Rascal each month who exemplifies the spirit of the Charlotteville Rascals.
Each coach nominates a rider based on the following and then they agree on the worthy winner.
Attitude: Enjoy coming to Rascals and actively take part. Listen, question, apply and understand what they want from their cycling.
Paris-Roubaix has their cobble the Rascals a Guildford Granite Set
Attendance:
Turn up come rain or shine to have fun.
Technique / Skills Progress:
Steady progress of their skills in the techniques they have been coached.
Rascals Development:
Take an active role in the Rascals and wanting to assist in the development of themselves and the club. For example with technique demonstrations, laying out courses, clearing up, youth volunteer, mentoring / helping fellow Rascals.
External Rascals Activity:
Actively take part in activities outside of Rascals and encourage others to have a go. For example other club go-ride events, cycling with parents or school, cycling proficiency, racing etc
