I had the choice of the 2/3/4 version or the Masters C+ versions of this race run at Hillingdon. I opted for the latter as one of the early opportunities to ride as a vet. The race was surprisingly hard as it featured a relentless series of attacks. By the finish the eventual winner was away with nearly a minute as the main bunch sprinted for 2nd. In the scrap I managed 7th overall.
