Showers stayed away so a rather pleasant evening for our second Surrey league race of the year. 61 riders took to the line including seven  Charlotteville only outdone by Kingston Wheelers who fielded sixteen. No incidents or accidents but the usual nightmare for the judges trying to deal with a near 50 rider bunch sprint in the fading light under the trees.I am very grateful to the experienced Steve Davis and Lorraine Day for handling what i think is the most difficult part of running races. My thanks to my faithful band of helpers, Alun Millard for course signage and marshaling. Gary Sheffield for dealing with the signing on and marshaling. Richard Kidd lead car. Marshals Dave and  Jackie Wakeford and Kathryn Brown and Finish cameraman Dave Carlsson.
